Clinical Trials Ontario released its second Annual Report (2013-14) at the Annual General Meeting held at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute in Toronto on November 19, 2014.
The report describes CTO’s accomplishments over the last year and highlights key objectives for the coming year. A key achievement in 2013-14 was the development of the CTO Streamlined Research Ethics Review System to support the timely, efficient and effective review of multi-centre clinical research in Ontario.

The Annual Report also highlights a series of other firsts, including the development of a web-based platform, called CTO Stream, which will support the Streamlined System. This year also saw the first-ever CTO 2014 Clinical Trials Conference followed by the publication of the Conference Digest.
