International Clinical Trials Day 2026

Thanking the clinical trials community for keeping trials moving

Each year on May 20, International Clinical Trials Day recognizes the people and partnerships that make clinical trials possible. This year, Clinical Trials Ontario is marking International Clinical Trials Day by thanking members of Ontario’s clinical trials community for their continued efforts to strengthen and grow the clinical trials environment — helping bring more and better trials to people in Ontario, and across Canada.

Clinical trials rely on many people working together: participants, research teams, research ethics boards, institutions, sponsors, health charities, patient organizations, and many others. Your work helps advance research, improve care, and support new and innovative therapies.

Thank you to the clinical trials community

These notes of thanks recognize the people and organizations who help make clinical trials possible — from those who design, review and conduct studies, to those who participate in research and share their lived experience.
