CTO is excited to announce the establishment of the new College of Lived Experience. The College was created to advise CTO on current topics and issues about clinical trials for which patient and public input would be valuable. The members of the College will support CTO in its effort to ensure the patient and public perspective is incorporated in relevant CTO activities and will also be a resource to the Ontario clinical trials community.
CTO will facilitate opportunities for input between the College and the clinical trials community. CTO would be happy to discuss opportunities for members of the College to provide input on your organization’s projects and initiatives related to clinical trials. The College is a natural evolution of CTO’s Patient and Public Advisory Group that was formed in 2017 and which significantly contributed to CTO’s resources for patients and the public. CTO is grateful to its Patient and Public Advisory Group for how it shaped CTO’s activities and approaches, both of which will carry on through CTO’s work with the College.
