JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), the CRA will support the operational aspects of Red Rock’s growing portfolio of clinical research projects. The CRA will be involved in planning and managing the day-to-day aspects of sponsored clinical studies to ensure project objectives are met.
Location: Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area (GTHA)
Terms: Hybrid (in office at least 1 day per week)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: $60,000 to $80,000 per year based on experience
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage clinical study projects under the direction of the CSO
• Create and maintain project documentation and files
• Support clinical site activities and training
• Monitor ongoing research projects for compliance and safety according to relevant standards,
requirements, protocols, and standard operating procedures
• Support ethics and regulatory submissions as needed
• Support ongoing safety assessment activities
CRITICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of good clinical practice (GCP) regulations (required)
• Knowledge of clinical databases (preferred)
• Knowledge of spine/orthopedic surgery (preferred)
Skills & Experience:
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Self-directed, proactive in the management of the assignments
• Detail-oriented; able to perform complex tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent time management; able to prioritize tasks and accomplish set goals efficiently
• Ability to learn quickly and master concepts of a medical and surgical nature
• 1+ years of clinical research experience (preferred)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or healthcare fields (required)
Clinical Research certificate (preferred)
Valid passport, must be able to travel to the US
