On August 12th, Clinical Trials Ontario hosted a roundtable webinar to share some of the initiatives occurring across Ontario’s clinical research ecosystem in order to facilitate the re-start of clinical research. This round table focused primarily on solutions for remote monitoring, as well as the current and future challenges for remote quality assurance of clinical trials in the COVID-19 era. Panelists included: Katie Roposa, Director, Research Quality Integration, University Health Network; Cheryl Litchfield, Manager, Grants and Contracts, Lawson Health Research Institute; Keitha McMurray, Executive Director, Research Integrity and Clinical Research Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre; and Pat Clifford, Director of Research and Innovation, Southlake Regional Hospital.
