Christianne Fortin resides in Chatham, Ontario. She accomplished a double major Bachelor of Arts of Law and Justice and Religious Studies. She also received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She is currently a Junior Regulatory Specialist for a local cannabis facility. She became a medical caregiver 10 years ago when her daughter was diagnosed with Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma – a tumour that almost took her daughter’s life. It has become Christianne’s goal to educate and advocate for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada and to speak about her experiences as a caregiver. She also lives herself with a rare syndrome that is one of only several hundred cases reported globally. She is trying to understand and live with the complexities of this rare syndrome. She enjoys anything beatnik and loves the hippie life.
