Gail has been working in patient/family engagement in research since 2015. Her background in research administration support combined with her participation in clinical research as a participant sparked a passion to help educate and support others with respect to the importance of research as part of one’s healthcare journey. Gail firmly believes that including people’s lived expertise in all aspects of research ensures a better experience for participants in research and creates better clinical trials. She has been part of CTO’s Patient and Public Advisory Group (the predecessor to the College of Lived Experience) and its College of Lived Experience since its inception, is a member of the IMAGINE SPOR Network, and works at the Collaborative Learning College at the Center for Addiction and Mental Health.
