Lam Pho is an IT Director and project manager with more than 25 years of experience in information technology, database administration, clinical trials, cancer research and business processes. Over the years Mr. Pho has led the design, development and implementation of sophisticated IT systems to manage multiple clinical trials being conducted across hundreds of clinical sites.
As the Information Technology Director for the Canadian Cancer Trials Group (formerly the National Cancer Institute of Canada Clinical Trials Group), he is responsible for the overall technology direction and represents the Group in many external IT related projects and committees.
He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Statistics from Queen’s University and is trained on all standard requirements for clinical trials including Good Clinical Practices, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, NIH Ethics training and NCIC CTG standard operating procedures.
