Tips and Tricks for Inspection Readiness
Panelists will share Health Canada inspection knowledge and experience, how their site has handled remote vs. in person inspections (if applicable), and address attendee questions on inspection readiness and the process.

Jennifer Li, BSc, CCRP, Quality Manager, Cancer Clinical Research Unit, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre – University Health Network
Jennifer is a Quality Manager at the Cancer Clinical Research Unit (CCRU), Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Jennifer has over 13 years of experience in oncology clinical research, including team management and over 7 years of specialization in Quality Assurance. In her QA role, Jennifer has supported research teams in numerous audits and inspections, developed a system of tracking quality metrics across the Oncology Program, and spearheaded several quality initiatives. She received her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree from York University, as well as a post-graduate certificate in Clinical Research from Humber College. She has been a member of the N2 Canada Quality Committee since 2015 and is currently the President-Elect of the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA).
Sabrina Hamer, BA, RYT, CCRA, CHEO Research Institute, Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance Manager
Sabrina has 19 years clinical research experience with more than half of her experience in regulated clinical trials. Sabrina joined the CHEO RI team in 2016 as part of the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance Program. Sabrina is ACRP certified as a CRA, and has vast knowledge in the areas of quality assurance, clinical trial management, Good Clinical Practice, Health Canada and FDA regulations, and international best practice guidelines. Sabrina aims to provide the best support and service to the research community, and works collaboratively with various departments to navigate the complex and ever changing regulatory landscape.
Denise Bowman, CCRP, Quality Assurance and Education Officer, Lawson Health Research Institute
Denise Bowman is a Quality Assurance and Education Officer at Lawson Health Research Institute in London ON, the research institute of London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s HealthCare London. She has been working at Lawson in hospital-based clinical research for the past 8 years, following completion of her Honors BA in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience and post-graduate diploma in Clinical Trials Management from Western University. She has been a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) with SoCRA since 2015.
