Marisa Granieri is a Professional Engineer and a resident of Richmond Hill, Ontario. She has lived experience with a chronic health condition and has volunteered for the past 8 years in order to contribute to positive change and innovation in the health care system. Marisa has participated as a Patient Partner on the Central LHIN Patient and Family Advisory Committee, Health Quality Ontario (HQO) Patient, Family and Public Advisors Council and other initiatives with HQO, including Adopting Research to Improve Care (ARTIC) Operational Committee, the Online Reporting of Wait Times Project and the Primary Care Quality Advisory Committee.
Marisa has been a panel presenter at the 2017 and 2018 Health Quality Transformation Conferences. Currently, she is a patient partner on the Digital Health Advisory Council, Central Region Patient Access and Navigation Services Advisory Group, and the Central Waitlist Management Digital Strategy Working Group of Ontario Health, Central, as well as a member of the Steering Committee of the General Medicine Quality Improvement Network of Ontario Health, Quality. She is also participating in research projects, Patient Priorities for Quality Improvement on General Medical Wards and Workforce Planning for Inpatient Medical and Intensive Care Physicians with the University of Toronto.
