Clinical Trials Ontario has published a reference document for companies new to initiating and conducting clinical trials in Ontario.
Getting Started: Conducting Clinical Trials in Ontario highlights important resources that can help sponsors and investigators to understand the clinical trials environment. It points to resources on key topics such as regulatory approval, tax incentives and regional economic development.
The Introductory Guide was prepared with input from members of the clinical trials community.
“We’re excited to present this practical resource for sponsors looking to conduct clinical research in Ontario,” says Susan Marlin, President and CEO of Clinical Trials Ontario. “We hope that, by addressing the major questions new entrants might ask, the guide will help more companies experience the advantages of Ontario as a location for global clinical trials.”
